We provide fully capable doctors to meet short and long-term needs in general practices,
hospital emergency departments, clinical units, health clinics and medical administrations
across Australia. We also provide a range of specialised medical and advisory services
to the corporate sector.
Our client services are grouped under three service streams.
We work closely with health and medical service providers and corporations throughout
Australia including hospitals, regional health services, private practices, medical
retrieval services, Aboriginal health services, community health services, correctional
health and occupational health services to provide medical resources and expertise.

Skilled Medical was established in 2005 to help address the shortage of qualified
doctors in rural, regional and outer metropolitan areas of Australia. It has been
led since inception by the Managing Director, Dr. David Campbell, a qualified specialist
medical administrator and public health physician with over 30 years of experience
in health care. The company has built upon its strength in understanding the needs
of doctors and clients. Skilled Medical today consists of a team of highly skilled
professional and support staff. We are now one of Australia’s largest medical services
firms, placing hundreds of doctors each year throughout Australia.

Skilled Medical invests in the support and development of its corporate staff so
that they remain the best in their field. We provide staff development, mentoring
and support, ISO 9001 quality systems, an advanced IT environment and an award winning
work environment. We support the development of our medical staff, seek their regular
feedback on the services we provide, review their placement activities and provide
them with medical administrative support and advice. We help our doctors to develop
and maintain their knowledge and skills and promote their continuing professional
development through our Professional Support Program.
Skilled Medical is aware of its obligations to the medical field and the communities
we serve. Since 2007, we have donated over $150,000 to hospitals, medical schools
and community agencies to assist them with a range of activities. Through our Social Responsibility Program we are active
in supporting targeted health and community programs aimed at medical research,
education and community development.
