A Northern NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice
We have a locum opportunity for GP/VMO 20 – 24 January 2020 with option to extend for a weekend.
Role is GP with ED on call.
Dates:
• 0800 Monday 20 January start
• 1800 Friday 24 January finish
Summary of job:
• Picturesque town located approximately 75kms from the large NSW Regional centre of Tamworth.
• The Health Service is a well equipped and modern facility.
• There is a HealthOne GP clinic on the Health Service campus that is managed by Hunter New England.
• The GP clinic functions Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm.
• Oncall for the hospital is rostered as agreed
• When oncall for HealthOne you are responsible for the hospital inpatients and ED.
• There is a doctor’s unit on site.
Average ED patients over 3 years is 9.8 per day.
