The Position
Skilled Medical currently has an exciting career opportunity for a house officer or senior house officer to commence a 6-12 month fixed-term position in New Zealand's North Island commencing ASAP.
House officers with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience can build upon their experience by gaining exposure in different runs, 3 months in duration and commencing each quarter, with the exception of O&G and Paediatrics which offer 6 month runs.
Medical rounds include: Cardiology, General Medicine, Older People's Health, Oncology, Haematology, Renal and Gastroenterology. Surgical rounds include Orthopaedics, all General Surgery, Opthalmology, ENT, Neurology and Psychiatry. Rounds in ED, O&G, Paediatrics, Leave Rotator and Community are also available.
Senior House officers who are on the pathway to becoming a Medical Registrar can build upon their experience in the MAU (Medical Assessment Unit).
Additionally, you will receive 2 hours of protected teaching a week and welcomed to join the RMO Committee (consisting of peers).
