A Northern NSW hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Internal Medicine

Position: Night Medical Registrar
Unit: Ward cover (excluding ED)
Experience required: At least 3 years post graduate with General Medicine experience

Dates:
Sunday 19th April - Sunday 26th April 2020
Sunday 26th April - Sunday 3rd May 2020
Sunday 10th May - Sunday 17th May 2020
Sunday 17th May - Sunday 24th May 2020
Sunday 24th May - Sunday 31st May 2020
Sunday 31st May - Sunday 7th June 2020
Sunday 7th June - Sunday 14th June 2020
Sunday 14th June - Sunday 21st June 2020
Sunday 21st June - Sunday 28th June 2020
Sunday 28th June - Sunday 5th July 2020

Shift times are 20:00 to 08:30 (each block finishing at 08:30 on the Sunday)

Some of the duties include:
- Providing supervision and assistance to the Night RMO
- Patient reviews
- ED consults that the evening Medical Registrar was unable to attend
- Attending MET calls
- Overnight admissions

Remuneration: Rate increase to $150 per hour

Allowances: Return travel from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne (capped at $450).
Accommodation provided (must be willing to share) and a hire car if required.
