A Southern TAS hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Internal Medicine from 21/11/2020 to 01/02/2021.
SHIFTS:
Registrar – PGY 4 or above (With rest days RHH will require at least 2 locums to cover the blocks)
May consider Senior RMO if they have General medicine experience
Unit: General Medicine
Description: The Department of General Medicine accepts on average 13-15 admissions a day through the Emergency Department. The night staff are responsible for admitting (assessment and management) patients to General Medicine and also the subspecialties, along with the overnight RMO. The team is also responsible for the management of deteriorating patients on the wards (medical and surgical) including MET calls and Code Blue. The MET team is supported by ICU registrars.
Note: General medicine also covers a COVID ward – this is currently being staffed by Registrars
Dates required: 21 November 2020 to 8.30am 1 February 2021
Shifts: Nights: 2230 (10.30pm) to 0830 (8.30am), shifts will be Nights followed by rest days
Example: 4 Nights rostered followed by 4 rest days or 7 Nights followed by 7 rest days
