The Position

Skilled Medical has an available career opportunity for a Vocationally Registered (VR) General Practitioner to commence a permanent position with a Darling Downs QLD aboriginal health service.  Non VR general practitioners will be also be considered.

This position is ideal for GP's with interest/experience in indigenous health and keen to provide ongoing support to the local and surrounding communities. 

Health Service

Offering holistic, primary health care and medical services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the region. The clinic's opening hours Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm Wednesday 8:30am to 1:30pm Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm.

This health service is supported by the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS) program and approved training site for General Practice Training Queensland.

The Location

Darling Downs, Queensland.

Essential Criteria

Doctors must hold FRACGP or FACRRM and vocational registration with AHPRA. Non vocationally registered GPs on training programs with RACGP or ACRRM are also eligible for this position.
