A Southern TAS hospital requires a Junior Medical Officer in Internal Medicine and Surgical wards
Hospital at Night: Rotational relief cover across medical & surgery rotations - needs to be flexible
ASAP to 8.30am 11 January 2021
Full time employment with requirement to participate in fully rotational roster within the hospital which includes evening, nights and weekend shifts.
Shifts are a mix of evenings (3.30pm to 11pm) and nights (10.30pm to 8.30am)
As per the roster: on-call paid at $10 per hour & if called the hourly rate can be claimed
Tasmanian border restrictions due to COVID-19 are still in place and Locums coming into Tasmanian may still be required to quarantine for 14 days from arrival unless an exemption has been approved. For this specific role, Locum RMO’s from interstate may not be granted an exemption from the 14-day quarantine requirements, therefore any Locum submitted for consideration will need to be made aware they would be required to arrive 14 days prior to the shift commencement. The Tasmanian Health Service will cover the cost of the accommodation for the Locum during the quarantine period and reimburse 76 hours of wages.
Evidence of current Medical Indemnity (for public and private patients) must be provided prior to commencement
