A Central NSW hospital requires a Junior Medical Officer in Internal Medicine from 21/10/2020 to 23/10/2020.
Tuesday 22 October 2020 0800-1630 $150/hr
Wednesday 23 October 2020 0800-1630 $150/hr
Thursday 24 October 2020 0800-1630 $150/hr

AFTERHOURS & WEEKEND DOCTOR RESPONSIBILTIES
Weekday Shift 1500-2300
- 1500 Weekday Handover is compulsory and Drmust attend
- Round of all wards at least once per shift including COU patients and document in file
- At the end of shift Drare required to handover to the ED Doctor
- New admissions after 1500 are to be admitted include the following when required; pathology, cannula, IDC etc.
- Assist in ED when requested
- Document all notes on EMR2
- All corresponding Death Documentation including Death Certificate, Cremation Certificate and Coroners Checklist must be completed if a patient passes on Dr's shift.
Weekend Shift 0900-0900
- Need to speak to ED Doctor and afterhours nurse manager to ascertain if any patient concerns
- Must review all COU patients and document in file,
- Review all new admissions Friday through to weekend and other patients as required.
- Need to order pathology for patient admitted over the weekend.
- Transfers from other hospitals are to be admitted
- Patient for discharge on weekends require documentation regarding a discharge plan and follow up on plan where approved.
- Assist in ED when requested.
- Document all notes on EMR2
- All corresponding Death Documentation including Death Certificate, Cremation Certificate Coroners Checklist must be completed if a patient passes on Dr's shift.
