The Position
Skilled Medical currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist) to commence a permanent position in a regional QLD health service (several locations available).

Health Service
Offering multidisciplinary health services across 29 facilities to a catchment area of approximately 300,000 people. This network of facilities receives approximately 85,000 admissions to hospital and 158,000 admitted to the Emergency Departments and helps deliver approximately 3,000 babies per year.

Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FRCRRM) or Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP) or enrollment in a training program to these Fellowships (Advanced Registrar enrolled in the AGPT or RVTS or ACRRM Independent training programs) will also be considered.
