A Southern NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine.
Emergency department presentations approx. 10,000 per year.
The hospital is a 28 bed general/Acute.
Obstetric unit for low risk birthing, around 100 births per year. Covered by Obstetrician on Call
New CT scanner and working towards roll out of Telestroke in May this year. Imaging On Call 24 hrs
Point of Care pathology in ED unit as well as 24 hr on call pathology for formal bloods. Blood Bank
Visiting Surgeons twice weekly and are also covered for Theatre On Call for Obstetrics.
VMO coverage (2ND on Call) to support Locum and also for fatigue management.
Obstetric and anaesthetic on call Doctor.
Experience Registered Nurses on Shift / FLECC trained or training.
First-line assessment and treatment, referral to tertiary hospitals when required.
2 bedroom Flat on Campus.
