A Southern NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 04/06/2021 to 07/06/2021.

• Emergency department presentations approx. 10,000 per year.
• The hospital is a 28 bed general/Acute.
• Obstetric unit for low risk birthing, around 100 births per year. Covered by Obstetrician on Call
• New CT scanner and working towards roll out of Telestroke this month. Imaging On Call 24 hrs
• Point of Care pathology in ED unit as well as 24 hr on call pathology for formal bloods. Blood Bank
• Visiting Surgeons twice weekly and are also covered for Theatre On Call for Obstetrics.
• VMO coverage (2ND on Call) covers from 2200 to 0800 hrs on Saturday evenings to support fatigue management.
• Obstetric and anaesthetic on call Doctor.
• Experience Registered Nurses on Shift / FLECC trained or training.
• First-line assessment and treatment, referral to tertiary hospitals when required.
• 2 bedroom Flat on Campus.
