A Southern SA hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Emergency Medicine from 28/08/2021 to 16/09/2021.
Commence 10:00 Saturday, 28 August 2021 to 20:00 Monday, 30 August 2021 (inclusive)
3 afternoon shifts at 10 hours per shift with a 30 minute unpaid meal break
Commence 10:00 Tuesday, 31 August 2021 to 20:00 Sunday, 5 August 2021 (inclusive)
6 afternoon shifts at 10 hours per shift with a 30 minute unpaid meal break
Commence 10:00 Monday, 6 September 2021 to 20:00 Friday, 10 September 2021 (inclusive)
5 afternoon shifts at 10 hours per shift with a 30 minute unpaid meal break
Commence 10:00 Saturday, 11 September 2021 to 20:00 Tuesday, 14 September 2021 (inclusive)
4 afternoon shifts at 10 hours per shift with a 30 minute unpaid meal break
Commence 22:30 Monday, 13 September 2021 to 08:30 Thursday, 16 September 2021 (inclusive)

The ED team consists of one other Salaried Medical Officer (2 per shift), nursing staff and after hours Consultants who are available if required. The position is based primarily within the Emergency Department but some after-hours assistance may be required in Ward areas. The incumbent will be working as a medical officer covering ED and the wards and also working with junior supervised RMOs. As previously mentioned, there will be off site consultant back up available for medical, surgical, anaesthesia, paediatrics and O&G.
The incumbent must be credentialed to work in SA by the Department of Health Central Credentialing Committee.
