A Central NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 20/12/2021 to 09/01/2022.

Clinical skills/competencies: General Practice RAC residents that require scripts Paediatric Skills required for ED presentations and GP clinics Neonatal ED presentations with support for NETS and CCAS Emergency Medicine ED skills imperative to role – assessment and management of all triage codes including critical care Intensive Care : stabilising for transfer Trauma Trauma management skills required Psychiatry Knowledge and treatment of scheduled patients and patients with a mental illness. No specific requirements needed Life support adult (basic/advanced) Advance life support – with assistance from critical care advisory line Life support paediatric (basic/advanced) Basic paediatric life support with assistance from CCAS and NETS Circulation Ability to cannulate and perform emergency procedures such as IO insertion, chest drains etc.
