The Position
Skilled Medical are currently looking for O&G SHOs/ Registrars to join a DHB in a beautiful part of New Zealand (North Island).
Health Service
This DHB provides tertiary and secondary obstetrics and gynaecology care and primary obstetrics. The service provides an integrated mix of inpatient/outpatient/day patient and domiciliary services. Gynaecology surgery is undertaken at both Wellington and Kenepuru Hospital and clinics are delivered at Wellington, Kenepuru and Kāpiti Health Centre. They provide a gynaecology oncology (GO) centre for 7 DHBs with outreach clinics and weekly regional MDMs. With around 3,600 births per year there is ample opportunity for SHOs to gain experience in the full spectrum of obstetric care from ante-natal to post-natal at Wellington. Primary maternity birthing units (midwifery led) are based at Kenepuru Hospital and Kāpiti Health Centre.

Essential Criteria
Suitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY3+ or above. Doctors must already have MCNZ registration or be eligible to apply for registration via the Competent Authority or Comparable Health System pathway.
