The Position
Skilled Medical currently have several permanent full time (80 hours per fortnight) roles in a busy ED in coastal QLD. The salary range for Senior Staff Specialists is $225 798 - $239 377. For Staff Specialists it is $188 800 - $219 301 and for Senior Medical Officers it is $163 473 - $188 800. The total package includes extras such as motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, superannuation (up to 12.75%), and annual leave loading (17.5%). The total remuneration is up to $430 003.
Health Service
The department averages 55 000 patients per year and Staff Specialists (Consultants) work 8 x 10hr shifts per fortnight (with 6 rostered days off).
The Location
4 hours' north of Brisbane. Doctors can live right on the beach and enjoy a perfect climate all year round.
Essential Criteria
Doctors applying for the Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist roles will need to have specialist registration with AHPRA or be able to apply for specialist registration via the Specialist Pathway. Doctors applying for the Senior Medical Officer roles may be able to apply for provisional registration via The Competent Authority Pathway.
