An Western NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 14/10/2022 to 14/10/2022.
Shift Start Date - End Date Start Time - End Time Number of Shifts Rate 13:30-07:30 07/11/2022 - 13/11/2022 13:30 - 07:30 7 2500
1330 Monday 7 November 2022 until 0730 Monday 14 November 2022 Rate of Pay: $2,500.00 per 24 hours with pro rata payment for part thereof. Role information: GP VMO - capable of managing approx. 30 presentations daily as well as ~3-4 calls overnight. Must have completed eMeds training. Experience: Emergency, Trauma, Basic Life Support, Simple suturing, ECG interpretation, Catheterisation, sound clinical judgement and communicate appropriately. On-call requirements: Sole doctor On-call 24/7. 6 hour fatigue break provided each weekday morning from 7:30am to 1:30pm. In cases of major trauma or patients requiring intubation, the local on call GP anaesthetist can be contacted for assistance. On Saturdays & Sundays, relief is provided by another doctor from 7:30am to 6:30pm, with main doctor returning to ED from 5:30pm to 10:00pm and then on-call until 7:30am next day. Hours required to be on-site: Work in ED as needed during the day and then be on-call until 7:30am. Must return to the ED when requested by nursing staff at any time. Type of Doctor required: GP with Emergency Department Experience. Must have completed Rural eMeds training
