• We are looking for paediatric registrar/RMO locums that are either available for regular, return shifts or larger ‘blocks’ i.e 1+ month placements. In addition, we are also seeking paediatric registrar for regular Monday, Wednesday and Thursday shifts
• Roster of primarily a mix of days and afternoons with some night shifts required
• Will provide travel, accommodation and hire car for interstate locums | Rates up to $171 dep on experience

A Metropolitan SA hospital requires a Registrar and RMO's in Paediatrics ASAP to June 2023

Paediatric services include:
• Paediatric emergency -This is under the auspice of the Emergency Department, which has a special section for assessing children. An adjacent waiting area contains toys, a television and videos. Each year upwards of 20,000 children are seen in emergency and 20% of these are admitted.
• Inpatient Unit - Our 33 bed Paediatric Inpatient Unit (children’s ward), is specifically designed to meet the needs of children and their families. Children are admitted to the Paediatric Unit for problems ranging from emergency medical and surgical conditions to adolescent disorders.
• Surgery for children is also provided in specialties including ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastics and Dental.
• Paediatric outpatients - An extensive range of paediatric clinics are available, with some clinics provided in collaboration with visiting specialists from the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
