The Position
Palliative Care Physicians employed by this hospital provide specialist consultation to local community palliative care services, general practitioners and other physicians in the region, as referred. The service provides specialist consultations across the region and is able to provide face to face assessments with patients as well as provide expert advice via phone. The team consists of Palliative Care Physicians, Nurse Co-ordinators and a Nurse Practitioner.

This hospital is a purpose built fully integrated facility with 289 beds located less than two hours from Melbourne. On site speciality support is provided for intensive care, general medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, urology, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, geriatric, rehabilitation and cancer care services.

Located in the South-East of Victoria, this hospital is close to some of the state's most popular tourist attractions and beaches.
Essential Criteria
Fellowship of the RACP or equivalent. Qualifications and clinical experience in palliative medicine.
