The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a District Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine to commence a permanent position as soon as possible in a coastal Western Australian hospital.
The position offers an exceptionally attractive total salary package up to 500K (with overtime and penalty rates in addition to this). Some of the package benefits include accommodation and travel subsidies, gratuity payments, professional development opportunities, study/leave assistance, salary packaging and rural bonuses/allowances.
This role will also offer the overseas candidates the opportunity to work towards their fellowship in Australia and gain specialist registration via the independent pathway through ACRRM (Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine).
Health Service
This small to medium sized hospital offers a range of services including obstetrics and gynaecology, aged care, ophthalmology, general and urological surgical services, podiatry, respite care, and a 24 hour emergency department.
The Location
This town is located by world heritage coastline. The region is well known for its tourism and mining, agriculture, and fishing industries.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold general registration with AHPRA, or be eligible for registration with AHPRA via the competent authority pathway.
Standard (AMC) pathway candidates from some comparable health systems may also be considered.
