A Southern SA hospital requires a Specialist in Anaesthetics for the below blocks:
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 2 December 2019 through to 18:00 Friday, 6 December 2020 (1 oncall period)
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 9 December 2019 through to 08:00 Monday, 16 December 2020 (4 oncall periods)
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 16 December 2019 through to 18:00 Friday, 20 December 2020 (1 oncall period)
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 6 January 2020 through to 08:00 Monday, 13 January 2020 (4 oncall periods)
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 13 January 2020 through to 18:00 Friday, 17 January 2020 (1 oncall period)
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 20 January 2020 through to 18:00 Friday, 24 January 2020 (1 oncall period)
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 27 January 2020 through to 18:00 Friday, 31 January 2020 (1 oncall period)
Commencing 08:00 Monday, 3 February 2020 through to 18:00 Friday, 7 February 2020 (1 oncall period)

Note: Commencing times and conclusions times are unable to be changed so as to meet operational requirements.
Interested candidates will be required to partake in a 5 day roster commencing at 08:00 on Monday and concluding at 18:00 on Friday with one oncall period to be rostered during that period.
Interested candidates may also be willing to undertake an additional 3 days oncall by partaking in a weekend oncall period which would be available the second week of each month and would commence at 08:00 on Monday and conclude at 08:00 on the following Monday.
The incumbent will be required to provide anaesthetic services for elective and emergency theatre lists and births, and provide anaesthetic support to the Emergency Department, High Dependency Unit and other clinical areas as required and provide anaesthetic services for elective theatre lists at Millicent. The incumbent will be required to be on call, with full details of the roster requirements made available upon confirmation of availability.
Rates for these periods will be:
• $2,000 per day for normal shifts - 08:00 to 18:00 rostered Theatre sessions
• $2,200 per 24 hour when covering on call and rostered Theatre Sessions
