The Position
Skilled Medical currently has an exciting opportunity for an obstetrics & gynaecology (O&G) specialist to commence a permanent position at a rural hospital in regional New South Wales. This opportunity will suit a highly skilled clinician with extensive experience in the practice of evidence based O&G who is able to work independently as well as provide equitable participation on the acute on-call roster.
Health Service
This hospital provides acute services with 348 treatment spaces to a catchment area of approximately 62, 000 people. The obstetric unit services approximately 1000 births per year and includes inpatient and emergency consultations, outpatient gynaecology and antenatal clinics and emergency theatre lists.

Essential Criteria
Applicants must hold Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and specialist registration with AHPRA.
Applicants must have recent clinical experience in O&G and an ability to provide specialist standard clinical O&G service for elective and emergency cases, including outpatient and antenatal clinics and on call services.
