The Position

Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Career Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine to commence a permanent position in the Riverina Region of Southern NSW commencing ASAP.  Candidates with at least three years post-graduate experience are encouraged to apply.

Health Service

This medium 71 bed regional hospital offers 24 hour emergency department, medical, surgical, palliative, maternity, radiology and aged care services to a catchment area of approximately 12,000 people.

The emergency department is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service.

The Location

This town is known for its historic buildings and rich agricultural history and is close to a number of regional and national parks offering swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing, bush walking, cycling and local wildlife watching experiences.  It is ideal for doctors seeking a bush and country lifestyle.

Essential Criteria

Doctors must hold general AHPRA registration and have at least three years post-graduate training and experience.
