Adult Mental Health services is part of Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services that provides acute inpatient, hospital based and community mental health services for adult mental health consumers between ages 18 to 65years

The health service is a comprehensive integrated Mental Health Service offering assessment and specialised mental health
intervention to children, adolescents and adults of the Wynnum and Redland catchment area. The Service is authorised under the terms of the Mental Health Act 2000. Services provided by the Adult Mental Bayside Mental Health Service include:
Acute Care Team
Community based treatments through the Community mental health teams
Acute inpatient services, including Acute Observation Area (AOA)
Services for mental health consumers in the Emergency department of Redlands Hospital.
Consultation Liaison Services
Working closely with Child and Youth Mental Health Services,
Older Adult Mental Health Services and Addiction Services
Opportunities dependant on full-time / part-time availability and will be
predominantly based in the Mental Health Service facilities.
