A Southern NSW hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Emergency Medicine from 07/10/2024 to 02/12/2024.
SHIFTS:
ED Registrar 2IC (2nd in charge) (PGY 5 and above) $180 p/hr. Flights and shared accommodation provided
Monday, 14th October until Sunday, 20th October (finishing Monday, 21st October) (7 nights)
Monday, 28th October until Sunday, 3rd November (finishing Monday, 4th November) (7 nights)
Monday, 4th November until Sunday, 10th November (finishing Monday, 11th November) (7 nights)
Monday, 11th November until Wednesday, 13th November (finishing Thursday, 14th November) (3 nights)
Monday, 18th November until Sunday, 24th November (finishing Monday, 25th November) (7 nights)
Monday, 25th November until Sunday, 1st December (finishing Monday, 2nd December) (7 nights)
Bed numbers: 16 acute and 3 resuscitation beds
Shift times and staffing levels:
• 0700 – 1700 2 Registrar + 1 RMO
• 0800 – 1800 2 FACEM + 1 Registrar + 1 RMO + 1 Intern
• 1400 – 2400 2 FACEM + 4 Registrar + 1 RMO + 1 Intern
• 2230 – 0830 2 Registrar + 1 RMO + 1 Intern + 1 FACEM on call
Support provided: 24hr consultant, registrars, RMOs and nursing staff.
Any other important shift information: FACEM shifts are split between ‘in charge’ and ‘resource’ shifts. Registrar shifts are split between ‘acute’, ‘ambulatory’ and ‘EMU/resource support’.
