The Position
Skilled Medical are currently looking for registrars in various departments. These roles are due to start in July (Qtr 3 15/07-13/10) and October (Qtr 4 14/10-12/01) and then a variety of new positions will be available in January when the new medical year gets underway. There are currently positions available in ED, Medicine, O&G, Paeds, Psych and Surgery.
Health Service
Hawke's Bay Hospital is situated in Hastings, New Zealand. It is a large secondary level, 400 bed accredited public hospital providing acute and elective care for a region of over 178,500 people. The hospital provides a full range of surgical, medical, oncology and radiological services. It’s a busy enough hospital for a diverse range of clinical challenges, but small enough for you to know every SMO in the hospital and feel welcomed into the Hawke’s Bay community.
