- The incumbent will be required to be available after hours to assist with patient management outside of their shifts (e.g. major multi-trauma). If attendance is required after the approved rostered hours an agreed rate per hour as detailed above will be applied.
- The incumbent will be required to provide supervision to the RMO, intern and medical student workforce in the ED as well as take on their own clinical load. There will be a requirement to act as clinical team leader with the responsibilities which that entails, including overseeing management of all patients in the ED as well as team leading resuscitations and other emergency presentations

A Southern SA hospital requires a Specialist in Emergency Medicine from 09/05/2024 to 02/06/2024.
SHIFTS:
• Commencing 14:00 Thursday, 9 May 2024 through to 24:00 Saturday, 11 May 2024 (3 shifts)
3 Afternoon shifts
• Commencing 14:00 Thursday, 30 May 2024 through to 24:00 Sunday, 2 June 2024 (4 shifts)
4 Afternoon shifts
o If attendance is required between the hours of 24:00 to 08:00 the rate of $300.00 per hour will be applied

• 4 chair Renal Dialysis Unit
• 12 room out-patient Consulting Suite
• 2 out-patient procedure rooms
• Pre–Admission Clinics
