• Facilities include 6 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11 bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and an 9 chair day therapy unit. Medical consulting suites are located onsite together with comprehensive pathology and radiology services.
• The ward HMO works independently as the solo doctor providing cover to the four wards for all hours other than 1500-2100 Monday to Friday (there are two ward HMO’s during the D2 hours).
• We require candidates to be PGY4+ or PGY3 with at least a few months of registrar level experience

The HMO role is a mix of ward call, medical and surgical admitting. The ward HMO is responsible for running MET calls independently. The ICU HMO will attend code blue calls. They do not attend MET calls unless requested.
