• This is a 49 bed acute care Hospital including 3 High Dependency beds staffed by rural generalists. The Hospital had a major rebuild and renovation just prior to 2000. The Friends of the Hospital Foundation have generously supported acquisition of state-of-the-art resuscitation and critical care equipment for the Emergency Room, High Dependency Unit and Operating Theatre.

Rural Generalist required for a Coastal QLD Hospital from 16/09/2026 to 22/11/2026.

Roster consists of 4x 10 hour shifts per week. Shift times are 08:00-19:00 with procedural oncall 19:00-08:00 (up to 3 shifts per week) or 10:30-21:30 with standby oncall one shift per week. Potential to work obstetrics only during any of these periods.
