- The general medicine department is the largest clinical department in the hospital and provides high-quality medical care to a diverse patient population with acute medical needs
- It comprises 4 medical wards across the hospital and trains interns, 50 basic physician trainees and approximately 10 advanced physician trainees
- The general medicine department is staffed by Consultant Physicians, many of whom are specialists in infectious diseases, nephrology, geriatrics, endochronology and rheumatology
