A South Eastern VIC hospital requires a Registrar/Junior Medical Officer in Paediatrics from the 03/07/2017 to the 07/08/2017.
Full time hours, participating in our rotating roster, are available from July until August 2017. Seeking a Paediatric Registrar to assist with coverage, however would also accept a Resident.
Duties
We have a very busy and highly regarded Paediatric service at our hospital - this role would be working with a Senior Paediatric Registrar, a Specialist Paediatric Trainee and a GP Registrar, and is well supported by our Consultant Paediatricians. Day work will comprise of ward work and may also include clinics. For on call work, our roster has the residents/registrars as first on call, followed by a Consultant. Our hospital has 24/7 ED Doctors and a Medical Registrar, as well as on call support for a range of areas including O&G, Surgeons, Physicians, Anaesthetists.
Accommodation - Will be provided as required
Travel - no travel allowance
Registrar: Day shift $100 per hour. Night hours $110 per hour. Recall retainer paid at $15 per hour plus any recall hours at applicable
hourly rate.
Resident: Day shift $85 per hour. Night hours $100 per hour. Recall retainer paid at $15 per hour plus any recall hours at applicable hourly rate.
